Hooters Social Media Content Creation
There are few brands more iconic and recognizable than Hooters. It’s a unique business with a tone that’s witty, unapologetic and authentic. The branding for Hooters nods to the era of it’s creation: 1983, when bold color, clever copy writing and in-your-face graphics reigned supreme. Creating graphics that were scrolling-stopping, hunger-inducing and fresh was the strategy behind this collection of content creation.

Food focused images were saucy, larger-than-life, and packed with color.

Seasonal opportunities gave the chance to make some unique and stand out graphics like retro inspired merch stories, spicy seltzers for April Fools’ Day, and infographics celebrating the women of the brand.

One of the most key aspects of this brand: the world famous Hooters girls. Working with this recognizable “asset” meant color correcting countless orange shorts, smoothing shirts, and finding ways to add an energetic, graphic touch to photography based assets.

Hootmas: a magical time of the year. Highlighting merch items with a striking, punchy graphic style was such a fun set of assets to create. I illustrated some snowflakes to add some holiday cheer and displayed items with typography combos, starbursts and bold use of their color palette.
